This is a TWO K-Type Digital Thermometer with microprocessor and high temperature measurement system for use in a wide range of kiln and furnace applications. It uses an external K-type thermocouples as its temperature sensors. The temperature range of this thing is amazing: -50°C to 1300°C (-58°F to 2372°F) and has MAX, MIN and AVG! It offers fast response and impeccable accurate results. Plus you have an option to view results in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) or K readout on its big easy-to-see LED screen. The hand held meter case is made from durable plastic with a flip out rear bracket from stand up viewing and enclosed by a shock-resistant-impact-absorbing silicon rubber holster case and an operations manual. The 2pcs of K-Type thermocouples sensor are supplied with the unit for differential temperature measurement. You may replace the thermocouple with any standard miniature K-type thermocouple connectors, available at any electronics store. Especially when snaking a flexible wire into the roast chamber is easier than drilling holes for a rigid thermometer shaft. A simple yet very effective way to monitor temperature.
