It has an all metal brass body, traditional knurled grip, fixed 4 mm sleeve, lead grade indicator (with knurled metal casing) and clip. It has a very technical look and will appeal to engineers for its solid construction and lead advancement mechanism. The guide pipe gives an excellent view of the lead. The pencil has a 8 mm diameter grip and 9 mm hexagonal body shape. The subtle change in body shape links this modern drafting pencil with its wooden pencil ancestors. Top cap holds an eraser and also features the iconic Rotring red circle.
